MotoGP News - Stoner Grab Pole, Rossi Start at Position 14

Rossi left behind more than two seconds than the record time of Stoner.

Repsol Honda rider Casey Stoner won the pole position in MotoGP qualifying session at the Circuit United States Indianapolis, Saturday, August 27, 2011 (Sunday morning GMT). Stoner recorded a fastest time of 1 minute 38.850 seconds and make the right pole in the race session, Sunday, August 28, 2011.

Ben Spies followed Position Stoner and Jorge Lorenzo in second and third start. Meanwhile, Dani Pedrosa and Andrea Dovizioso followed in fourth and fifth place. Unfortunately for Ducati rider Valentino Rossi who was thrown into the position 14.
