This is the second victory this season after previous Lorenzo on MotoGP champion Spain in the second series. In previous series, this 2010 MotoGP world champion had the misfortune.
In the British MotoGP, Lorenzo had an accident. Whereas in the Dutch MotoGP, riders 24 years was not lucky after getting hit by Marco Simoncelli (Honda Gresini). Results in Mugello clearly makes Lorenzo satisfied.
"This victory is very special, because in the last three or four races really hard for us (Yamaha). I gave everything on the track. Now I have no other type of energy," Lorenzo said as quoted by Autosport.
"It's very difficult to overtake Andrea (Dovizioso) and Casey (Stoner) when braking hard, so I tried to overtake them as derivative and in the end all went well," said Lorenzo.
Since the beginning of the season is always difficult to keep up Yamaha Honda. Lorenzo Yamaha assess the speed began to compensate for Honda. "I want to say thank you to Yamaha for all the effort they do to give me the best bike," said Lorenzo. (eh)
