MotoGP 2012 - Lorenzo Champion, Stoner Failed Podium

Two Spain riders battle created in Catalonia Circuit. But Jorge Lorenzo who finally managed to finish ahead of Dani Pedrosa in the MotoGP race day Sunday, May 3, 2012.

MotoGP world champion in 2010 it managed to secure the number one position with a time of 43 minutes 07 681 seconds adrift followed by Pedrosa 5 seconds more. Secured the final podium position to fail the defending champion, Casey Stoner, who had to settle in behind Andrea Dovizioso.

Stoner on pole appear failing to maintain its position since the start and are stranded in the middle order. The best fourth position which finally achieved the Australian, failure to seize the first podium of the season for Stoner.

Carl Crutchlow was ranked fifth, followed by Alvaro Bautista, while Valentino Rossi failed to repeat the previous performance after only finish in seventh. Even so, 'The Doctor' seem quite happy to pass the finish line.

Stefan Bradl of the LCR Honda, followed by teammate Rossi, Nicky Hayden and Ben Spies to fill the position of the top ten.

In the early start, both Lorenzo and Pedrosa immediately took over the leading position of the hands of Stoner. Since then the two drivers exchanged salip hosts won one ranking.

Upon entering the last lap seven, exciting battle re-presented. Lorenzo with Pedrosa continues to aggressively pursue, chase each other inevitably. But on the sixth lap Lorenzo finally managed to take over the leading position in the past and since then Yamaha rider was not overtaken.

Stoner also invited diving tough race with Dovizioso and Crustchlow. Both Tech 3 Yamaha rider was aggressive with the motor attached Stoner so difficult to drive at full speed and took podium position.

This is Yamaha's third victory in five races this season. Results were also increasingly menatapkan Lorenzo position at the top of the MotoGP standings with 115 points, followed by Stoner with minus 20 points. Pedrosa is ranked third (85 points), followed by Dovizioso (60), Crutchlow (56) and Rossi (51). viva
