Formula 1 2012 - Schumacher: Goodbye Formula 1

Michael Schumacher was determined to retire as a Formula 1 driver. Mercedes AMG Petronas drivers would end their work in duna racing pole at the end of the 2012 season.

Schumacher future is uncertain as the successful Mercedes Lewis Hamilton hook. Drivers who are still defending the McLaren-Mercedes team it will be a tandem Nico Rosberg in the Mercedes begin 2013 season.

Schumacher had been linked with a move to Sauber. Seven-time F1 world champion is tipped to replace Sergio Perez who moved to McLaren next season.

Now, Schumacher insists the 2012 season is the end of his career. "I have decided to retire at the end of this season," he said as quoted by Metro.

Retirement decision is the second time for Schumacher. Previously, drivers who had defended Ferrari team for 11 years was announced to resign at the end of the 2006 season.
