Swimming News 2012 - Dutch swimmer Java Descendants Best in Europe

Ranomi Kromowidjojo crowned as the best women swimmers in Europe. Dutch swimmer Javanese descent was reached it because of  the achievements at the 2012 London Olympics.

The award was given by the Ligue Europeenne de Natation (LEN). Ranomi elected after won two gold medals in freestyle numbers 50 and 100 meter Olympic-30, in August.

The achievement of the girl born 22 years ago was equaled notch swimmer from Germany, Britta Steffen, the 2008 Beijing Olympics. At the Games four years ago, Ranomi just won the gold medal in the 4x100 meter freestyle number.

In this year's LEN awards, Ranomi successfully get rid of Camille Muffat which ranks second. The French national swimmer won gold in the 400 meters freestyle Olympic 2012.

While the newcomers occupied rank 3, Ruta Meilutyte. Swimmer 15 years captured the gold medal 100-meter breaststroke. She is also the European record in the semi-finals (1 min 05.21 sec), and in Lithuania became the first swimmer to win a gold medal. viva
