Andrea Pirlo disclose the reason to join Juventus. Italian international midfielder also claimed to have set back the number that will be used.After 10 years of defending AC Milan, Pirlo finally decided to join Juventus with a free transfer. The 32-year midfielder officially signed a three-year contract with The Mistress of today, Wednesday, May 25, 2011.
Although Juventus are one of the rivals Milan in Italy, but Pirlo claimed never to think long when he received an offer from the Turin club.
"Joining a club like Juventus is not a common every day. I chose Juventus because it's one of the most important clubs in Italy, Europe and the world. It's a good challenge, and I'm sure has taken the right decision," Pirlo said through the official site club, juventus.com.
Pirlo admitted also received offers from other clubs in Italy and Europe, but eventually chose Juventus. "When there is an offer from Juventus, I immediately thought about it, because we share the same ambition,"said Pirlo.
Pirlo was disappointed not be able to play a lot last season due to injury, but the former Inter Milan Brescia and is sure to play in many games with Juventus next season.
During this Pirlo always synonymous with back number 21, both in Milan and the Italian national team. However, Pirlo's claim could not determine whether he can wear it in the Juventus number one jersey.
"No back what would I wear? I do not vote, there's still plenty of time," said Pirlo.
Later number 21 is always used in the Juventus defender Zdenek Grygera. No. 21 also was charged Zinedine Zidane during a career in Turin.
